Gonzales Jambalaya Queen, Teen Queen crowned

Crowned May 2 for the 2009 Gonzales Jambalaya Queen was Chanie Frederic and 2009 Gonzales Jambalaya Teen was Kourtney Gautreaux. The queens are shown with Fran Baker, director.

The Gonzales Jambalaya Pageant was held Saturday, May 2.

The pageant was represented by eight Miss and four Teen contestants.

“Pretty In Pink” was the theme for the pageantry and the opening number was performed by 2008 Miss Queen Jenna Levert and 2008 Teen Queen Brooke Little and the competing contestants.

The contestants competed in evening gown and then were given an on stage question.

Crowned for the 2009 Gonzales Jambalaya Teen was Kourtney Gautreaux, daughter of Katie and Brady Gautreaux.

The 2009 Gonzales Jambalaya Queen is Miss Chanie Frederic, daughter of Tonya Frederic and Kenny Frederic.
