Robert family continues hayride tradition
Cheryl LeBlanc Babin

The annual Robert family hayride was held March 20 at the Gonzales residence of Don and Mikki Robert. The event, now in its 29th year, is held annually for children with special needs.
The day included horseback riding, hayrides, games, food and fun.
Don, the founder of the special day, started with the help from the local posse.
In time the event became so large, with the help of his siblings, along with their family members. Now they join in every year for the event.
