ENGAGEMENT: Perez-Foster

Jerry and Karla Foster announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Carol Danielle, to David Anthony Perez of Kenner. The wedding ceremony will take place on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Orleans.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Ruth McHenry and the late Cleveland McHenry of Baton Rouge; also the late Joyce and Dan Foster of Floresville, Texas. She is a 2000 graduate of St. Amant High School. She attended Southeastern Louisiana University and in 2005 she graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor of arts in elementary education. She is currently employed at Archbishop Chapelle High School in Metairie teaching algebra, physical science, and chemistry.
The prospective groom is the son of Sal and Luana Perez of Kenner. He is the grandson of Delbert Wainwright and the late Lin Wainwright of Metairie; also Salvador and Enoelia Perez of Kenner. He is a 2000 graduate of Ridgewood Preparatory School in Metairie. He attended both Loyola University and Tulane University, and in 2005 he graduated simultaneously earning bachelor of science degrees in chemistry and chemical engineering respectively. He is currently employed as a chemical engineer at DuPont Performance Elastomers in LaPlace.
Following a honeymoon snowboarding in Banff, Canada, the couple along with their dog Sandy, will reside in Kenner.
