Historian to speak on Oak Grove, Hope Villa

Local historian Ira Babin will speak on the histories of the Oak Grove and Hope Villa communities, March 18, at 6:30 p.m., at the Ascension Parish Library in Galvez. 

Babin is a lifelong resident of Ascension Parish and a contributing writer to the Bicentennial Edition of Ascension Parish 1807-2007. A reception immediately follows the program.
