ENGAGEMENT: Fontenot-Potter

Ricky and Jackie Potter of Gonzales announce the engagement of their daughter, Brooke Potter, to Brandon Fontenot, son of Dawson and Sheron Fontenot of Gonzales.

The couple will exchange nuptial vows during a 7 p.m. ceremony March 20, 2009 at St. Mark Catholic Church. 

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Lynna Potter of LaPlace and the late Patrick Burns of LaPlace.

She is a 2003 graduate of St. Amant High School and graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College.

She is employed by Our Lady of the Lake Hospital as a surgical technologist. 

The prospective groom is the grandson of Noblisse and Emelda Fontenot of Maurepas and Hattie Moran and the late Dewey “By-June” Moran of Gonzales. 

He is a 2003 graduate of East Ascension High School and is employed by ISC as an electrician.
