3rd Annual ‘Bingo for Babies’ Thursday
The 3rd Annual “Bingo for Babies” will be held Thursday, March 5 at the Knights of Columbus, 230 S. Irma Blvd. in Gonzales. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
Proceeds will benefit the March of Dimes. Tickets are $15, which includes 10 games of bingo and a jambalaya dinner, provided by the Jambalaya Festival Association.
Participants must be 18 to enter. A limited number of tickets are still available. To purchase tickets, contact Betty Latuso at 225-647-2841.
Following “Bingo for Babies” will be the Gonzales March for Babies, which is scheduled for Saturday, April 18 at the American Legion in Gonzales at 8:30 a.m. 3rd annual ‘Bingo for Babies’ set for March 5 Dee LeJeune, CEO of St. Elizabeth Hospital, will preside as the Chair of the 2009 Gonzales March for Babies this year.
Presenting Sponsor for the 2009 March for Babies is Rubicon. Corporate sponsors include BASF, EATEL, Motiva Enterprises, Williams Olefins and United Community Bank.
The mission of the March of Dimes is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature births and infant mortality.
