The Knights of Columbus, Msgr. Lieux Assembly 2052, Gonzales, held their annual 4th Degree Valentine Social with Sgt. Brady Jackson as their guest of honor. Sgt. Jackson, a member of the Arkansas Army National Guard, 39th Brigade, just returned from his second tour in Iraq. Faithful Navigator, Blake LeBlanc, pictured with Jackson, presided over the ceremony and presented Jackson with the Patriotic Service Award. Rev. Michael Galea, from St. Anne Church, Sorrento, blessed the gathering. The Patriotic Branch of the Knights of Columbus in attendance included members and wives representing the churches and councils of St. Mark, St. Theresa, St. John, and Holy Rosary. Jackson’s wife Karen, grandparents, past Grand Knight and past Faithful Navigator Lawrence LeBlanc and wife Rita, and mother Yvonne Decoteau, were also in attendance.
