Bayou Country Exxon/Mobil Retiree Club disbanding

Bayou Country Exxon/Mobil Retiree Club is in the process of disbanding. Because of the deaths of so many members through the years and a lack of new enrollments, it has been decided that the time has come to bring the activities of the club to an end.

Organized in 1982, with a membership of more than 300 annuitants, spouses, and surviving spouses, members have enjoyed many years of fellowship, welcoming interesting and informative guest speakers, delicious catered meals, and being recognized through the DEEDS awards program for performing community service.

“These years will be fondly remembered as a special time in the lives of the Exxon/Mobil Club members,” said member Anna Belle Acy.
