‘John Wick’ Review

Keanu Reeves returns in “John Wick” the story of an ex hit man who’s forces to go back into action when his dog, a final present from his deceased wife, is killed by the son of his former boss. “John Wick” goes on an insane killing spree that’s full of amazing action and left me really entertained.

Keanu Reeves does an amazing job as Wick. This is probably one of his best acted films I’ve seen him in. the rest of the cast does a good job as well and the direction in this movie is fantastic. The way the director shoots the city night life is beautifully shot. The action is very well choreographed and all this is put together in one of my favorite scenes in the film, the night club scene. The lighting for this action sequence is glorious as neon lights flood the background as “John Wick” takes out well over 20 hit men. This brings me back to the action. The character of “John Wick” is so slick in his killing and so stealthy, I’d say he’d do a great job in the military. This guy takes no prisoners and he completely annihilates anyone who gets in his way.

“John Wick” is the best action film of 2014 and if you are an action fan, I’d recommend this film.  I hope we can get more of “John Wick” in the future because I feel this could be a new franchise, and I hope it goes in that direction. I’m going to give “John Wick” a B+.
