Sorrento teen places in Miss La. Outstanding Teen Pageant

Sorrento teen Taylor Alberes participated in the Miss Louisiana Outstanding Teen Pageant (MLOT) in Monroe. the week of May 29 – June 1. She placed First Runner-up out of 27 participating girls at this state pageant and was awarded a scholarship for this acheivement. Taylor presently holds the title of Miss Greater Baton Rouge Outstanding Teen (MGBROT) 2013. Judging is based on interview, fitness, talent, evening gown and on-stage question. The pageant winner represents Louisiana in the Miss America outstanding Teen that is hosted in Orlando, Fla. The MLOT organization also includes the Fleur De Lis Princess program which allows the teens to mentor young girls from the ages of 5-10. Taylors FDL princess participant was London Luquette.

Taylor is an honor student of St. Amant High School and is a proud member of the Gatorettes. She is the daughter / step daughter of Ivy Alberes and Dena Luquette from Sorrento.
