Troopers support 'Polar Plunge' for Special Olympics Louisiana

Every year, Louisiana State Police is a proud supporter of Special Olympics Louisiana. On Saturday, March 2, Troopers will be "Freezin' for a Reason" as Cabela's will host a "Polar Plunge" to help raise money to support Special Olympics programs. State Troopers along with local law enforcement and first responder agencies will be on-hand at this event to support the families and participants of this year's plunge.

The "Polar Plunge" will be held on Saturday, March 2 at 9 a.m. at the Gonzales Cabela's located on LA 30 near I-10. Individual or team registration begins at 8 a.m., and costumes are encouraged. This will be a fun-filled event and Troopers are hoping for a large turnout.
