United Daughters of the Confederacy celebrate Christmas

Thirteen members and guests of the New River Rangers, Chapter 2514 of the United Daughters of the Confederacy gathered Dec. 18 for a Christmas celebration at the St. Amant Park on Stringer Bridge Road in the Vietnam Veterans room. Christmas was celebrated with their annual White Elephant Christmas Luncheon featuring soup and sandwiches, along with desserts and drinks. Anita Young hosted the event.

The ladies were quite generous with items up for sale and the group had a fun time doing this.
