Downtown Festival of Lights, Reindeer Run take place today

The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge in conjunction with the Downtown Development District and the Office of the Mayor-President present the Downtown Festival of Lights, Baton Rouge's oldest holiday tradition, on Friday, Nov. 30 on the North Boulevard Town Square from 4 to 9 p.m.

Lois Holden will light the 35-foot Christmas tree and transform downtown into a winter wonderland with half a million sparkling lights, music, ice skating, real snow, arts performances, Arts Market artists, fireworks and more, including the 5K Reindeer Run sponsored by Forum 35!
