LPB2 moves to Channel 11 on EATEL

Viewers in Ascension Parish can now watch LPB2 on EATEL Channel 11.

The programming lineup onLPB2 is also in the process of being totally revamped with Louisiana Public Broadcasting calling it “Bringing Primetime to Daytime and Kids at Night.”

LPB2 airs local LPB favorites like Louisiana: The State We’re In, Louisiana Public Square, After the Hunt with Chef John Folse, Newsmakers and Press Club. The lineup will expand in February to include encore showings of primetime favorites such as NOVA, Nature, Masterpiece, Doc Martin, Last of the Summer Wine and Old Guys.

LPB2 provides a safe haven for children seven days a week. From 5:30 to 9:00PM each weeknight, LPB2 features award-winning children’s programming like Super WHY!, Curious George, The Cat in the Hat Knows a Lot About That!, Dinosaur Train and the brand new Wild Kratts series. On weekends, children’s programming runs from 9:00AM until 5:30PM Saturdays and Sundays featuring programs like Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps, Anne of Green Gables: The Animated Series, Thomas & Friends, and Frannie’s Feet.
