JFA Christmas Parade will air on EATEL Channel 4

Staff reports

The 2010 Jambalaya Festival Association Gonzales Christmas Parade rolled through the streets of the city Sunday, Dec 12, and EATEL is set to air the show on its Channel 4.

Local businesses, marching bands and Santa himself participated in the parade, organized for the first time under the Jambalaya Festival Association.

As the main sponsor of the parade, EATEL Channel 4 will air the parade starting this week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10 a.m., on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 8 p.m., on Saturdays at 7:30 a.m., and on Sundays at 3:30 p.m.

This special will run through Sunday, January 2, 2011.

“Each year the parade brings out thousands of people in support of the local community and its businesses,” said Meghann Hebert, EATEL public relations coordinator. “Being a hometown company around for 75 years, EATEL is proud to sponsor this event for the past several years and support the community that we’re a part of, especially during this holiday season.”

EATEL was the first company in Louisiana to provide phone, Internet and TV services over an all-fiber communications network that offers a broad array of digital programming, including 73 high-definition channels and hundreds of on-demand titles.

Founded in 1935, this year marks EATEL’s 75th anniversary as a service provider and leader in Ascension and Livingston Parishes. To learn about the 75th anniversary celebration, visit www.eatel.com or www.eatel.com/75years.
