EATEL offers wireless home networking
EATEL, the Gonzales-based telecommunications company, now offers wireless home networking to its residential FiberEdge Internet customers.
Trained EATEL technicians will professionally install and configure a secure wireless router that connects multiple home computers to a single Internet connection wirelessly, the company said in a release. EATEL will also maintain, support and replace if necessary any EATEL-provided home networking equipment.
A wireless Internet connection gives everyone in the family the opportunity to be online at the same time without having to deal with confusing and unsightly wires and phone jacks.
It also gives laptop users convenience and mobility to move around the house and remain connected to the Internet. Additionally, wireless customers can quickly connect their wireless-enabled mobile devices, such as an iPhone or Blackberry, to the Internet.
“Today’s families often have multiple computers throughout their home and their fast-paced lives mean every computer needs high-speed Internet access available at all times,” said Brad Supple, EATEL director of sales and marketing. “With installation and configuration set up and maintained by EATEL, families can feel confident that their connection is secure and meets their individual Internet needs.”
