Despino takes spin on 'Wheel of Fortune'

Sherrie Despino of Gonzales will be a contestant on the March 27 episode of “Wheel of Fortune.”

The episode will broadcast locally on WBRZ.

Despino, who is a lifelong fan of the show, is the president and CEO of the Ascension Chamber of Commerce, the mother of two and the grandmother of three. Wheel of Fortune continues to be a top show in syndication after 26 seasons.

The show is seen by more than 46 million viewers.

This week’s show, Coast to Coast, will feature prizes ranging from tours of the Grand Canyon to vacation packages to Florida.
