RRAA to hold 'Kaps for Kidz' reception Feb. 28

For the past month, members of the River Region Art Association and volunteers from the Pelican Point neighborhood have been designing and hand-crafting headbands and caps to benefit the programs that support the patients at the Mary Bird Perkins Cancer Center here in Gonzales. On Saturday, Feb. 28, the Art Association will hold a "Kaps for Kidz" reception from 2 – 4 p.m., at their Depot Gallery, 1008 W.Hwy. 30. At that time they will present a check to representatives from the Mary Bird Perkins facility reflecting those sales. The public is invited to attend the reception, and refreshments will be served.
