The Baton Rouge Irish Club presents Annual Wine and Food Experience Sept. 12

The Baton Rouge Irish Club will host their annual Wine and Food Event on Friday, September 12, at the Celtic Media Centre, 10000 Celtic Drive in Baton Rouge beginning at 7 p.m. Hosted by WBRZ’s Whitney Vann, guests will enjoy wine tasting and delicious food prepared and presented by popular restaurants, chefs, food vendors and vintners in the greater Baton Rouge area. LeBlanc’s Frais Marche, new to the Baton Rouge area, is the featured food vendor this year. Also participating are Beausoleil, Mansur’s On the Boulevard, Uncle O’s, Crescent Crown, French Market Bistro, Monjunis Restaurant, Desserts First, Café du Jour @ the Whistle Stop and Nothing Bundt Cakes. “The Jig Is Up”, a Houston based band, will be on hand providing lively Irish music. Both a silent and a live auction will also be held. The featured item in the live auction will be an exquisite piece of jewelry by Jack Hood Jewelers.

Tickets for the Wine and Food Experience are $30 for Irish Club members, $40 for non-members and $40 at the door. The cost of the ticket includes a commemorative wine glass.
