Recently the children and grandchildren of Project Kidz Kove (PKK) Board of Directors were invited to participate in placement of seashells in cement being poured for the sand pit for Kidz Kove Discovery Park! It was a steamy day, but the kids all had a great time, and took much pride, in putting their mark on just a small part of this park. A few minutes prior to the shell placement, the kids also participated in the burial of a time capsule!

The seashell placement event was made possible by the coordinated efforts of SBS construction, care of Danny Montelepre and Mike Kingston; and Domain-Designs architects, Michael Buturla and Michelle White. Thanks so much to them for all their time and work!!

September 19-21 will also be PKK’s Community Build to install equipment, and we need many strong volunteers (no one under 18 for safety purposes please). You can email Tammy Cullen at HYPERLINK “mailto:Cullen3@cox.net” Cullen3@cox.net or Stacey Bumpus at HYPERLINK “mailto:Sbumpus73@gmail.com” Sbumpus73@gmail.com to sign up. We are committed to making this park a reality, helping brighten the life of a child who would otherwise not have the chance of play. Sincerely thanks to ALL who had a hand in helping to raise the funds to build and provide this park for all our kids!
