VeeAnne’s Apparel and Jewelry invites the public to the 1st Annual Charity Fashion Show to held Sunday, June 1 at The Venue in St. Amant.

This year’s theme is “First Impressions.”

VeeAnne’s Apparel & Jewelry, a vintage clothing store located in Gonzales, goal is to form partnerships with non-profit agencies to build long-lasting relationships with our community in the Greater Baton Rouge area and hope other local small businesses follow in its footsteps.

The founder/CEO Victoria Porter Davis hopes to do so with partnering with Holiday Helpers, Inc, a non-profit organization.

Davis said, although she considers the CEO of Holiday Helpers, Reginald Brown as a personal friend, she also recognizes that he is a very generous individual who been helping the community for decades, sometimes even using his own funds. Therefore, what better way to give back to the community and at the same time, let a friend know that you are there to support?”

Not only will the fashion show celebrate the fact that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes; it also spans a diverse age bracket. Models from 16-50 years of age will show off new and vintage clothing that is unique to their generation.

VeeAnne’s is like no other, so you have to showcase the unique women and girls who are not afraid to be different and sport the one of a kind fashion that VeeAnne’s is famous for.

“Most women don’t like going to an event and seeing someone with the same outfit. If you are wearing an outfit from VeeAnne’s that will never happen”, said Davis.

From modeling to acting, music to dance, local artists and talent will provide entertainment for attendees.

The event will feature a silent auction and great food. Admission is $10.
