The week of June 9-13 Louisiana Regional Airport will be the host of the "ACE" Aviation Career Education day camp.

This summer camp experience is held across Louisiana by a traveling staff of counselors eager to share their passion and knowledge of aviation.

ACE Camp focus is on four major components in aviation: The Airplane and Aviator, Flight Planning, Weather and Airport Design; which are all basic elements of becoming an aviator. While airports can seem like a foreign land with its unique language; ACE camp gives students the keys to unlock an exciting path to a wide variety of aviation careers.

That Gonzales ACE Camp at Louisiana Regional Airport is open to students entering High school in the fall of 2014 through age 18. The all registration fee of $200 includes all supplies, camp shirt and lunches during camp. Space is limited to 15 students on a first come basis.
