Tiera Williams to compete in the 25th Annual MS. FULL FIGURED USA Pageant Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Robert Treat Hotel 50 Park Place, Downtown Newark, New Jersey.

Tiera Williams was selected to compete in the 25th Annual MS. FULL FIGURED USA Pageant on Nov. 2. The event will take place Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at the Robert Treat Hotel 50 Park Place, Downtown Newark, New Jersey. A landmark known for housing greats like Albert Einstein and President Woodrow Wilson.

The competition will have emphasis on personality, poise, confidence, public speaking, modeling ability and community service. As a contestant chosen for this competition, she will be competing for the 2014 title of "Ms. Full Figured USA" and many prizes/gifts.

Williams, who is 21, completed Delta College of Arts as a Medical Assistance and will be heading back to school to become a RN. She sings with the First Pilgrim Calvary Missionary Baptist Church Senior Choir under the leader ship of Rev. Irvin Briley Jr. She is the daughter of Lt. Robert (bear) Williams with the Ascension Parish Sheriff Office and Tammy Williams with the City of Gonzales.

The pageant is celebrating 25 years and promises glamour, excitement, high level of competition and great prizes including over $3,000 in cash, jewelry, wardrobe, personal appearances and travel.

This year proceeds will go to the "Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's" Research in honor of Mr. Joshua B. Randolph Jr.
