Team Addie Car Show and Fundraiser set for Sunday in St. Amant

Team Addie Car Show and Fundraiser is set for Sunday, Dec. 15. The event, hosted by Shear NV, will be located in the parking lot of11296 Hwy. 431, St. Amant. The fundraiser is being held for a little girl named Addie Oliphant. Addie is two years old and was diagnosed with Wilms’ Tumor about a month ago. Wilms’ Tumor is a childhood cancer that attacks primarily the kidneys. At the time of Addie’s diagnosis a large tumor was found on one of her kidneys. This resulted in the removal of the affected kidney, and tumors were found in her small lungs. After the removal of her kidney she began radiation, and transitioned from radiation to chemotherapy after Thanksgiving.

The show will run from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., and is open to classics, late models, imports, bikes – everyone is welcome. The event is free to the public. Pre-registration for vehicles is $20, and registration on the day of the event is $25 per vehicle.
