St. Amant's Carleigh Keller captures first place in 'Denham's Got Talent'

A talent competition, held at Denham Springs High School Friday, April 12, entitled "Denham's Got Talent," brought out the winning talent of St. Amant's own Carleigh Keller. Judges awarded first place to Keller, 15, who has also auditioned for American Idol.

Her award winning voice sang out "I Will Always Love You." Keller received $250 worth of recording time, will have the opportunity to perform at the 2013 Dukes of Hazzard Reunion event and a free professional studio recording session.

You can see her perform as she has been chosen as one of the Top 20 Finalists for Ascension Idol 2013 competition coming Thursday, May 9 at 7 p.m. at the Gonzales Civic Center.

She is the daughter of Sherry Keller of St. Amant.
