Farewell from 2012 Teen Miss Gonzales Jambalaya Queen

It’s hard to believe that my year as Teen Miss Gonzales Jambalaya is coming to man end. It feels as though I were crowned just a few days ago. Throughout my reign I’ve travelled around Louisiana visiting and attending different pageants and festivals representing the wonderful city of Gonzales and the Jambalaya Festival Association. I’ve had the opportunity to meet and work with some of the most amazing and inspiring people around and I can honestly say that this has been quite the perfect year.
Being your Teen Miss Gonzales Jambalaya 2012 has been such an honor and privilege. I’m extremely grateful to have had this once in a lifetime opportunity to be a part of such an amazing festival. The JFA family works hard and endlessly to raise money for many different causes with their award winning pots of jambalaya. I will forever respect and admire their dedication to the public, especially to the city of Gonzales.
At this time I would like to invite all girls, ages 14-16 years old and a resident of Ascension Parish to come out and compete in the 2013 Miss and Teen Miss Gonzales Jambalaya pageant. It will be held on May 4, at 7 p.m. in the Gonzales Civic Center. The children’s pageant will follow on May 5th at 2:00 P.M. in the Gonzales Civic Center. Forms are available online at www.jambalayafestivalassociation.org or you can contact the pageant director Elise Tureau at 225-938-8716.
Hope to see you there and good luck to all the contestants!
