‘Back 2Skool: 50 Book Sacks’ Outreach

Philippians Church Operation Hope’s campaign is called “50 Book Sacks,” and they want to get started right away! Returning to school can be an exciting time for some, yet troublesome for others. With prices steadily on the rise, what once was simple has become a daunting task for low-income families. They want to help ease this burden, and would love for you to partner with them!

“50 Book~sacks” means just this:

They want, with your help, to present 50 kids with brand new book sacks filled with basic supplies that include:

• 1 bottle of glue

• 1 pack of glue sticks

• 1 pack of markers

• 1 pack of crayons

• 1 pack of colored pencils

• 1 pack of regular pencils

• 1 pair of scissors

• 2 packs of paper

• 1 (3-ring) binder

They will pack each book sack and hand deliver it to low-income families that they have had the pleasure of knowing over the years. If you, your family, or anyone you know can donate a book sack and/or its contents, they would be grateful and honored to call you their partners.

The launch date to deliver the book sacks will be Sunday, July 14, beginning at 10 a.m. and ending when the last book sack has been delivered.
