Gospel in the Park 2013 set for May 4
In our effort to unite our communities. Gospel in the Park 2013 will create a positive and uplifting event for our families. Gospel in the Park 2013 at Jambalaya Park, Gonzales, will be held Saturday May 4, from noon until 8 p.m. and is a free event to the public.
The purpose of this event is to unite the local communities in a day of praise through song. This union should provide the opportunity for our adults to get revitalized spiritually, to allow our youth to witness a different type of enjoyment and to give our families a social, acceptable, spirit filled day in an open setting. Although we live in separate communities, we all belong to a community of one.
Choirs, dance teams, and church organizations are invited to participate in this event.
