Music for Your Soul
The angelic sounds of traditional gospel music have reverberated throughout churches and places of worship in the Southern United States since the late 19th century. These sacred songs serve as a soundtrack for the trials and triumphs of our everyday lives. Come revel in the glory of all things gospel, as Ascension Parish Library in Donaldsonville presents "Music for Your Soul," Thursday, Feb. 21, at 6 p.m. The church choir from St. Catherine of Sienna will perform uplifting hymns, accompanied by an accomplished musician. In addition, a group of local children and teens will present an inspirational liturgical dance. Registration is required for this event, and seating is sure to go quickly. Call 473-8052 to reserve your spot, today!
