The Gonzales Fire Department invites the community to join in their 3rd Annual Chili Cook-off and Sale benefitting Project Kidz Kove on Nov. 15. "Last year we sold over 500 quarts of chili, raising an amazing $5,500 for Project Kidz Kove", said Fire Chief Tracey Normand. "Each year the event grows and we see more participation from cooks and everyone enjoying the chili. Our participation helps Project Kidz Kove get closer to their goal and we are happy to be a part of their success".

Please join the Gonzales Fire Department, businesses and individuals as they strive to exceed last year's efforts on Nov. 15, from 11 a.m. -4 p.m., at the Public Safety Center, 724 Orice Roth Road, Gonzales. To achieve this goal, cooks are needed to enter the chili cooking contest. Entry fee is $25. Quarts will be sold for $10 each.
