LSU E. J. Ourso College to host Business Homecoming Bash

The LSU E. J. Ourso College of Business will host Business Homecoming Bash, a party primarily for alumni, prior to the Tigers homecoming matchup with Mississippi State on Nov. 10. Business Homecoming Bash will take place at the Business Education Complex in Virginia's Courtyard, which is located in the center of the facility. There is no charge to attend the event.
Scheduled to start four hours prior to homecoming's kickoff and run for three hours, Business Homecoming Bash is a celebration that will bring together alumni, friends, faculty, staff and student organizations of the college, according to E. J. Ourso College Dean Richard D. White Jr.
"This is the first time in the college's history that we are hosting a tailgate party on gameday," White said. "We are looking forward to great live music, free food and drink and lots of fun. But we are also giving our alumni and the rest of our college family a chance to network in a way they have never had available to them before, while inviting our graduates back to visit the facility their business accomplishments helped build."
White also commented on the inclusion of student organizations at the event.
"Our students are our reason for being here," White said. "Showcasing our student organizations, their recent successes and letting them tell their stories of how they are impacting the college, university and business community is a natural."
An online registration form has been made available for those who intend to attend Business Homecoming Bash. The form can be accessed at www.business.lsu.edu/rsvp. For more information, email Alumni & External Relations Director Wendy Luedtke at wendy@lsu.edu.
