OH, I WISH: Wienermobile rolls into Gonzales
Cheryl LeBlanc Babin

The Oscar Mayer Wienermobile rolled into LeBlanc’s Food Stores’ Gonzales location Sunday.
Visitors and Oscar Mayer officials gather around the Wienermobile for photo opportunities and to view one of America’s most popular marketing attractions.
Each visitor was also treated with a “Wiener Whistle.”
The Wienermobile was first created in 1936 to promote Oscar Mayer’s products at grocery stores across the Midwest. As the company grew, the Wienermobile expanded its travel from coast to coast.
