Mike’s Poboys at 1006 E. Worthy in Gonzales opened Monday after a fire forced the popular restaurant to close for nearly four months. The restaurant passed a final inspection Friday from the fire marshal and Gonzales city inspectors. About $140,000 was required to rebuild following an after hours fire that caused extensive smoke damage and ruined food and equipment at the popular shop.
