Join world-renowned Cajun and Creole Chef John Folse will be in the LPB studios for a special preview of his new series Hooks, Lies & Alibis on Thursday, December 11 at 7PM

This is the 13th series of A Taste of Louisiana with Chef John Folse & Co. with LPB. Based on his cookbook of the same name, Hooks, Lies & Alibis takes viewers from the waterways of the state to the kitchen as Chef Folse prepares dishes honoring the age old tradition of fishing and Louisiana’s world famous cuisine.

This preview features appearances by political commentator, author and Louisiana Legend James Carville; who prepares Barbecue Shrimp; Bishop Robert Muench of the Dioceses of Baton Rouge who grills Tilapia; Louisiana Legend Chef Leah Chase, who prepares Gasper Goo; Randy Ziegler from Toledo Bend, who prepares bass; and Buckley Kessler, who cooks Mardi Gras Red Snapper on the half shell.

Folse said one thing he always notices when he and LPB take A Taste of Louisiana on the road is that people welcome them into their homes with open arms and this series was no exception.

He also believes that the series will encourage the viewers to visit the locations featured in the series.

“The viewers will have a great time with this show,” Folse said. “They will want to come experience what we experienced every day when we took Hooks, Lies & Alibis on the road,” Folse said.
