Upstage Theatre proudly presents Home for Christmas written and directed by Dr. Ava Brewster-Turner. This production is perfect for the holidays!

The Clayton Siblings have relocated to every part of the country. Their mother isn't well, and this may be her last Christmas. Determined that the family recaptures something that they seem to have lost over the years, Nancy, the oldest sibling, plans an old fashioned Christmas reminiscent of their teen years hoping they will come to realize what has been missing from their busy adult lives.

The cast features: Kyesolyn Byrd (Nancy Clayton); Stanley White, Jr. (Jim Clayton); Crystal Jefferson (Mother); Krystal Blatcher (Gertrude Eldridge); Alexander Scott (Uncle Leroy); Chelsea Young (Marima Eldridge); Keyaira Augustus (Barbara Jean Winters); Milton Smith (Allen Foster); Armond Rounds (Anthony Jackson); and Terina Stripling (Mrs. Paker).

The production will be held December 6th at 7pm and December 7th at 3pm and 7pm at Upstage Theatre located at 1713 Wooddale Blvd Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70806. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased online at or at the UpStage Theatre Ticket Office also located at 1713 Wooddale Blvd.

Upstage Theatre is a local non-profit that prides itself on being the “little theatre with a big heart”. Upstage is celebrating its 10th anniversary season this year, with Home for Christmas being the closing production of the year.
