River Region Art Association offers art classes

River Region Art Association & River Parishes Community College at the River Region Community Art Classes to begin Sept. 9. A new program by River Region Art Association, developed in partnership with River Parishes Community College, the non-credit classes are offered in two six-week sessions beginning each fall and spring.

Age level of the classes vary and range from adult to youth, ages 10 and above.

The classes are held in two locations, at the Depot Gallery of the association located at 1008 Hwy. 30 in Gonzales, and at the community college campus, at 7384 John LeBlanc Blvd. in Sorrento.

Fees are $75 for association members and $85 for non-members. Supplies are not included.

Registration is handled only though River Region Art Association. The number of students is limited and advance registration suggested by Aug. 26.
