UDC holds luncheon at Taillon residence

Members and guests of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, New River Rangers Chapter 2574 met May 15 at the Taillon residence. Hostesses were Connie Taillon and Carolyn Keller. During the meeting, UDC President Ruth Hanson recognized Brenda Brignac with two more certificates for two additional ancestors that fought in the Civil War. Attending the meeting were, from left, seated: Connie Taillon, Lorraine Gautreau, Carol Frederic, Willa Bishop, Shirley Bourque, Beverly Plaisance and Sis Bergeron; and standing: Ruth Hanson, Anita Young, Olivia Navarro, Laura McCrory, Brenda Brignac, Patsy Stafford, Carolyn Keller, Shirley Russell and Loris Gautreau.
