The Na Na Sha Ensemble of St. Mark Catholic Church recently released their CD entitled “Look Beyond.” The nine member group is a special part of the history of St. Mark Parish.

From the VFW Hall days, through countless church fairs, and regularly at Sunday Eucharistic celebrations, Na Na Sha has been playing for this parish for the past 35 years. The vision of this CD was simply a dream until the parishioners began requesting that the group make one and Father Rubin Reynolds provided the support and necessary resources.

The members of the Na Na Sha Ensemble were originally part of the St. Mark’s Adult Choir, serving in the capacities of musicians, vocalists, and directors. All were also a part of the Na Na Sha Band at one time or another, which got its start at the St. Mark Church Fair in 1983.

“The Na Na Sha Ensemble is very proud and appreciative of the opportunity given to them by Father Rubin to create this CD,” said a member spokesperson. “Na Na Sha is honored to represent St. Mark Church.”

The “Look Beyond” CD may be purchased at the St. Mark Parish office or from any of the group members. The purchase price is $20. For more information, call St. Mark Church at 647-8461 or Pat Sanchez at 644-0380.
