1.Ascension Hot Air Balloon Festival - Join the parish for the annual Hot Air Balloon Fest this weekend at Lamar Dixon Expo center. This will be the first festival in two years, since due to flooding it was cancelled in 2016. The festivities will take place September 22-23. Admission is $5 for adults and free for children six and under.

2.Health: Growing Up BOYS - A Class for Preteen Boys will be held at St. Elizabeth's on September 26. Help your son understand the physical and emotional changes he will experience as he goes through puberty. Join us for a matter-of- fact and reassuring discussion on this normal part of growing up. Designed for boys ages 10-12 and their dads/moms. 6:00 p.m. - 7:30 p.m., Sr. Vernola Conference Room, FEE: $15, Pre-Registration Required.

3.Donate - With the tragedies of severe weather having recently wreaked havoc on the Gulf Coast, there are many opportunities to donate your time and resources for a good cause. Our communities know the value of good help after our region experienced unprecedented flooding in 2016. Let's try to give it back.
