Pro Wrestling Week in Review

Colden Fell

After an extreme night, the WWE headed to Albany, N.Y., for Raw. The night opened with The Authority wasting no time in getting back at The Shield for their victory at Extreme Rules.

Triple H ordered Shield member Dean Ambrose to defend his United States Championship in a 20-man battle royal.

Ambrose put up a valiant fight, but it was the "Great White" Sheamus that eliminated the fighting champion to become the new U.S. title-holder. After the match, Triple H said that The Shield would have to take on the Wyatt Family later that night.

The United States Championship wasn't the only title defended on Monday. Big E invoked his rematch clause to face off against Bad News Barrett for the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett was able to hit the Bull Hammer Elbow to get the win and retain his title.

The WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan and his new bride, Brie Bella, were stalked by Kane.

The newlywed couple tried to flee the building, but Stephanie McMahon suggested that they stay in Bryan's locker room until his match. That didn't take long until Kane killed the lights--forcing Bryan and Brie to flee.

They attempted to drive away, but Stephanie once again appeared and said that if Bryan left before his match, he would be stripped of his title.

Bryan then fought Alberto Del Rio, and the champion earned the victory. Afterward, he and Brie quickly fled to their vehicle.

Just as they were about to escape, Kane showed up and tried to get inside of the car. Bryan drove Kane off of the roof, and he and Brie escaped.

It seems the war between Kane and Bryan is far from over as WWE heads to Payback.

The Wyatts once again played mind games with John Cena. Bray Wyatt said that Cena is no longer loved and that he is a god.

The Wyatts then went to action with The Shield in the main event.

Seth Rollins once again went to the sky with his aerial tactics. Roman Reigns hit Bray with a Superman punch and just as The Shield looked to hit him with a triple-powerbomb, Evolution showed up.

Reigns hit Triple H with a Superman punch, only to be taken out by Bray Wyatt. Bray hit Reigns with the Sister Abigail to get the pinfall victory.

After the Wyatts' win, Evolution pounced on The Shield.

Randy Orton delivered an RKO on Reigns. Triple H then wanted a piece of Roman as he hit him with the Pedigree and then a triple-powerbomb.

The WWE universe will tune in next week as always to see the aftermath.

What will Bryan do to defeat Kane? Will The Shield be able to bounce back after Evolution left them lying in the sand?

What will be next for John Cena and Bray Wyatt? Next week will surely be a good one.
