Swamp Pop Christmas held at Lamar-Dixon

People danced and laughed as they listened to the swamp pop music.

With only four weeks until Christmas, having local vendors to choose from can really lessen the burden of shopping.

At the Swamp Pop Night Before Christmas on December 1 at Lamar-Dixon, guests could do just that. With vendors lined up with shopping essentials like candles, decor, jewelry, clothes, and so much more, there were plenty of opportunities to find a small gift for a loved one.

Although there was plenty of shopping that could be done, there was also the opportunity to listen to some live swamp pop music. The bands that played throughout the day included Mike Broussard and Night Train, Na Na Sha, and Don Rich. If just listening wasn't your jam, and you craved something more, you could get out on the dance floor and show off your moves.

Once you got tired of dancing, or watching, you could make your way over to the photo opt area, where Santa Clause sat in a pirogue decorated with Christmas lights.

The Swamp Pop Night Before Christmas was presented by 100.7 The Tiger WTGE, Tour Ascension, Clark Crain Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram, and Mike Ward's Liberty Safes.
