The moment you can start tailgating is the moment the fall season begins for many of us, especially if you are a sports fan.

Two weeks before kickoff starts for LSU, Guaranty Media hosts the Taste of Tiger Tailgate event.

"This is the 16th year we've hosted the event, but the first time we are hosting it at Lamar Dixon," said Gordy Rush, Vice President and General Manager of Guaranty Media.

Guaranty Media knows how to have fun and advertise fun. With four different radio stations, you're bound to hear something from them. They include 100.7 The Tiger, 104.5 ESPN, Eagle 98.1, and Talk 107.3.

The company doesn't stop there. They also raise money they can donate to charity through events that they host. A few of these charities include the American Cancer Society, flood relief, ALS (or Lou Gehrig's disease), which has affected the sister of the owner of Guaranty Media. They also donate towards the battle of autism.

To do this, they put on events like Taste of Tiger Tailgate. The tailgate event was family friendly with inflatables, food samples, and drinks. There was even a cornhole station that Bud Light set up for guests to toss bean bags around.

Not only do they host these events, but they encourage their staff to get involved and volunteer for organizations that serve a purpose.

With a mix of fun and fundraising, they add on more fun with music. The bands that were playing at Taste of Tiger were Chris LeBlanc, the Kendall Shaffer Band, and Studio 4 featuring Scotty Drake.

Many guests enjoyed the music and danced with their friends and families. They offered shopping vendors guests could purchase from if they still needed to get their game day purses, hats, or sunglasses before the big games start.
