EATEL recognizes six local high school graduates and rewards their academic success of achieving Top Scholar of their class. In partnership with the Ascension and Livingston Parish School Boards, the top graduating seniors from St. Amant, Dutchtown, East Ascension, Donaldsonville, French Settlement, and Maurepas High Schools were granted the EATEL Top Scholar Award, now in its 12th year.

Each student was presented with a certificate of achievement and a $250.00 VISA gift card to use for future academic supplies.

The Top Scholar program is in place to reward those who went above and beyond in their studies. I wish the very best for each one of these young scholars, as they embark on their collegiate educational endeavors and dreams. May they each strive for and achieve academic excellence, in their respective fields, and go on to pave the way for future students. Thank you to the schools for allowing us give out this award and congratulations to all the students who held the title of “Top of the class” -Arthur Scanlan III, of EATEL.
