Members of the Gonzales Rotary Club have been busy preparing for its Annual Food Fest scheduled for February 27 at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center Trade Mart Building. This annual event benefits the St. Theresa Food Bank.

Last year’s Food Fest had hundreds of people attend with over 40 restaurants and food vendors participating,” said Tracy Browning, Chairperson of the Food Fest Committee. “We hope to make this year’s Food Fest better than ever. Come join us for great fellowship, fabulous food and help a worthy cause to feed needy people in our area. Tickets are limited, so don’t wait to purchase them.”

Tickets are $25 each in advance or $30 each at the door. Tickets can be purchased at several businesses in the Gonzales area including Gonzales City Hall, St. Theresa Church, Jeansonne & Spillers Dentistry, Ascension Funeral Home, Lofton Staffing, and the Ascension Council on Aging. Advance tickets may also be requested by emailing tracy@tourascension.com. Restaurants and vendors interested in participating may also contact tracy@tourascension.com. Join us for great food from our local vendors and entertainment.

You will not leave hungry! The Rotary Club of Gonzales will also be collecting canned goods for the Food Pantry at the Food Fest. Bring a couple of cans or boxes of nonperishable foods and help fill the stomachs of those in need in our community while filling yours with a taste of Ascension.
