In the spirit of giving thanks, members of the Rotary Club of East Ascension gathered not only to eat and meet, but to feed and greet The Arc of East Ascension.

Rotarians served a Thanksgiving luncheon to nearly 250 guests at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Gonzales on Friday, November 17th. Attendees included clients, client family members, staff and Board Members of The Arc of East Ascension.

“We had an outstanding number of guests, and our Rotarians were ready to serve a Thanksgiving feast,” said Adam McCarty, Rotary Club of EA president. “This event has become a tradition that our club shares with The Arc of East Ascension and looks forward to every year.”

The vision of The Arc of East Ascension is to see a future for people with disabilities that is all-inclusive and ensures a quality of life through education, employment, family/community involvement, housing, recreation and access to services.
