Huntington Learning Center opens in Gonzales

Huntington Learning Center held a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, August 9th to celebrate their Grand Opening in Ascension Parish. They are located at 625 South Burnside Avenue, Suite 2, Gonzales.

Huntington Learning Center offers ACT/SAT prep for high school students, subject tutoring in math and science for middle and high school students, and learning center for kindergarten through 12th grade for students who struggle in math, reading and reading comprehension, study skills, vocabulary, and phonics. All of their programs are specifically tailored to each student. Their tutors are experienced Louisiana State certified teachers.

Attending the Ribbon Cutting for Huntington Learning Center were owners Karen and Elmer Tatum, Center Director Carol Pierce, Assistant Director Lori Savoie and Tutor Penny Diez. Also in attendance were Ascension Parish Government Public Information Officer Martin McConnell, City of Gonzales Mayor Barney Arceneaux, City of Gonzales Councilman Neal Bourque, Ascension Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Sherrie Despino along with Chamber Ambassadors and Huntington Learning Center family and friends.

Karen and Elmer Tatum are very excited to bring Huntington Learning Center to Ascension Parish. Huntington Learning center has over 250 locations nationwide and is celebrating their 40th anniversary this year. The Gonzales Location is veteran owned.
