Red Stick Adventures Expands Offerings
Red Stick Adventures City Tours is expanding their offerings to include daily swamp tours, plantation tours, and on Friday and Saturday nights, haunted mystery plantation tours.
Red Stick Adventures gives tourists the opportunity to explore downtown Baton Rouge attractions, LSU Rural Life Museum, the LSU area, and now has expended to travel daily to Cajun Pride Swamp Tours in Laplace, LA; The Myrtles Plantation for haunted tours in St. Francisville, LA on Friday and Saturday nights; and to “plantation country” daily to visit Houmas House Plantation. Red Stick Adventures will accommodate to any group that would like to visit similar attractions in the area.
Although Red Stick Adventures has been operating step-on guide service for groups visiting the Baton Rouge region for the past 9 years, this year is the first time they are offering bus tours to the destinations stated above.
Guests will enjoy a comfortable, intimate setting perfect for smaller groups, sit back and enjoy all that the region offers without having to drive, or blindly navigate their own way to visit all the Baton Rouge region offers.
“We saw a need in Baton Rouge for our growing tourism industry,” Scott Miles, the company’s founder explained. “Our service gives them the opportunity to explore not only our great downtown attractions, but also LSU, swamps, and museums that are not exactly walking distance from their hotels.”
Red Stick Adventures’ tours fulfill the city motto by providing “Authentic Louisiana at Every Turn.”
“Scott and I have lived in Baton Rouge for 40 years and we love to share the culture and history with visitors and locals. We want people to enjoy what we enjoy every day in and around the city,” said Susan Miles, Tour Manager.
The company looks forward to continuing to provide premier guided tour service and serving the area’s guests as well as providing tour service to those joining in the 2017 United States Bowling Congress Women's Championship.
Operating six days a week, Monday through Saturday and Sundays by request. There are plenty of opportunities to join a tour, with tours operating twice daily. For more information visit www.redstickadventures.com/tours.
