Food Festival to be Held March 29
Plans are underway for the 2016 Gonzales Rotary Club Food Festival. The annual event, to be held this year on March 29, is a collaboration of area restaurants and local food vendors who come together for a taste of the great food offered in our area.
“We are so thankful for their participation and look forward to this year’s event,” said Food Festival Chairman Gary Laiche. Last year over 500 community members participated to help feed the needy in the community.
Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased at the Gonzales City Hall, 128 Irma Blvd., or at the office of Dr. James Jeansonne, 1116 Purpera Ave. Tickets may also be purchased through any member of the Gonzales Rotary Club prior to the event or at the door for $30 on the day of the event. All are invited to come and enjoy the community event in support of the St. Theresa Food Bank. Don’t forget to bring a canned good to the event.
