Tractor supply company names Gonzales manager
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – J.D. Smith has been named store manager at the Gonzales Tractor Supply Company store that is under construction, according to District Manager Jim Dickison.
Tractor Supply Company is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States.
Smith joined Tractor Supply Company as a manager trainee in Zachary in 2008. Before joining Tractor Supply Company, he worked as a store manager at Circuit City for more than two years.
“We are excited to have J.D. on our leadership team,” said Dickison. “He grew up on a farm, and experience will be a great asset to this store.”
In his new position, Smith will oversee all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
The new Gonzales Tractor Supply Company store is at 414 W. Highway 30. The store will open for business in late March.
