Defending Class 5A state champion East Ascension garnered the highest seed among local schools. They head into the 5A playoffs as the No. 5 seed.

The Lady Spartans went 21-2 this season. This included an undefeated run in league play that netted them the District 5-5A championship. They head into the postseason on a 12-game winning streak.

In the opening round, they'll host No. 28 New Iberia, who went 17-7 during the regular season.

Also in the Class 5A playoffs, St. Amant earned the 20th seed. The Lady Gators went 21-8 during the year.

In the opening round, they hit the road to face No. 13 H.L. Bourgeois. The Braves went 22-6 during the regular season.

In the Class 3A playoffs, Donaldsonville earned the No. 7 seed after they finished the year with a record of 21-7.

In the opening round, they'll host No. 26 Glen Oaks. Glen Oaks finished just 14-15 during the regular season.

In the Division-IV playoffs, Ascension Christian enters the field as the 12th seed. The Lady Lions went 10-7 during the regular season.

In the first round, they'll host No. 21 Covenant Christian, who went just 3-19 during the year. They actually played Ascension Christian back on Jan. 25, and were trounced, 60-29.

Ascension Catholic also made the playoff field as the No. 20 seed. In the opening round, they'll visit No. 13 St. Frederick, who went 14-13 during the regular season.
